The data shows that from January to October 2019, China produced about 916000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 14%, and the installed capacity of power batteries was about 46.38 GWh, a year-on-year increase of 34%. As of the end of September 2019, the cumulative installed capacity of China's electrochemical energy storage projects that have been put into operation is 1267.8MW, accounting for 4.0% of China's energy storage market. China's electrochemical energy storage market is dominated by lithium ion batteries and lead batteries, accounting for 75.12% (872.0 MW) and 22.76% (264.2 MW) respectively, with an average growth rate of 65% in the past five years.

With the further expansion and development of China's new energy vehicles, energy storage, consumer electronics and other markets, the battery industry will also welcome better development opportunities.

In order to further promote the exchange and cooperation between upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, the 2020 China Battery and Energy Storage Industry Summit will be held at the same time.
