The students are about to have winter vacation. In order to make the glove box in our laboratory work better during the winter vacation, the glove box will be in a more stable state next year. You need to do the following!
01. Replace a full bottle of working gas to prevent the working gas from running out during the holiday and not being replaced in time;
02. Exhaust negative pressure for large and small warehouses to prevent the hatch cover from not being tightly closed, causing the cabinet to leak;
03. The cycle is normally open during the holidays. The laboratory temperature is higher than 15 degrees Celsius. It is recommended that the cabinet pressure be set to upper pressure 5 and lower pressure 1. When the laboratory temperature is lower than 15 degrees Celsius, it is recommended that the chamber pressure be set to upper pressure 4 and lower pressure. 0. This setting is to prevent thermal expansion and contraction. If the laboratory temperature is lower and the pressure setting is higher, it will consume more working gas;
04. If there is an open solvent in the glove box, be sure to seal the solvent before leaving on holiday to prevent the solvent from volatilizing and affecting the performance of the glove box;
05. The more precious and active metals are recommended to be sealed and preserved before holidays to prevent the circulation of working gas from being insufficient, which will cause the water and oxygen in the box to rise and damage the samples;
06. Check whether the vacuum pump oil is clean, if it is not clean, replace the pump oil in advance;
07. It is recommended to turn off the analyzer when no one uses it during the holiday, and then turn it on after the holiday ends;
08. Do not cut off the power to the main switch of the glove box. If there are electrical equipment in the box, the power should be cut off before leaving for holiday;
The above suggestions have played a good protective effect on the maintenance of the glove box.
