Glove box for lithium battery experiment

 The Lithium-ion Battery Laboratory of China University of Mining and Technology was established with the support of the China University of Mining and Technology's discipline construction funding (talent introduction funding). It was formally established in August 2009 and belongs to the Department of Materials Engineering, School of Materials, China University of Mining and Technology. There are 5 teachers, 4 PhD students and 13 master students. Dr. Quanchao Zhuang serves as the laboratory director.

  The laboratory is mainly engaged in the research of lithium-ion batteries, electrolytes and related materials of lithium-ion batteries, and has a good scientific research environment and experimental conditions. An advanced lithium-ion battery testing and research platform has been built. At present, the laboratory is equipped with the glove box of Mikrouna Supper (1220/750) and other related equipments engaged in the research of this subject, such as high and low temperature test box, vacuum/atmosphere tube sintering furnace, ultrasonic breaker, planetary ball mill, ultrasonic cleaner , Desktop powder tablet press, button battery automatic sealing machine, electronic balance, muffle furnace, blast drying oven and vacuum drying oven, etc.

  On the premise of completing undergraduate teaching, the laboratory focuses on lithium-ion battery electrolyte and new electrode materials as research directions. He has undertaken and completed a number of research projects, and published more than 50 scientific research papers in domestic and foreign journals such as J Phys Chem C, Phys Chem Chem Phys, Chinese Science Bulletin, among which nearly 30 are included in SCI, and nearly 10 national patents have been applied for.
