Common faults and solutions of glove box

1. The water oxygen content is greater than 200ppm

Reason: new box debugging or misoperation.

Method: stop the cycle, start the cleaning, clean to below 100ppm , start the cycle.

 

2. The screen shows that the main valve pressure is less than 0.4MPa or the main valve signal is faulty

Reason: Insufficient air pressure.

Method: Change the gas cylinder and increase the pressure to 0.4-0.5MPar .

 

3. The screen displays " Pump Switch Off "

Reason: The resistance of the vacuum pump is too large, causing a trip.

Solution: After repairing the vacuum pump, open the electric cabinet and close the trip switch.

 

4. The loop cannot be opened

Reason: Voltage instability caused inverter protection, which made it impossible to start the cycle.

Solution: Restart the glove box after the voltage stabilizes.

 

5. Gas consumption during regeneration is much smaller than before

Reason: The content of organic solvent in the glove box is too high, the organic solvent enters the circulation system during circulation, and the one-way valve on the regeneration gas pipeline is blocked by the organic solvent during regeneration.

Method: ①Change the one-way valve to a straight-through valve, and set the regeneration pressure to 0.03~0.04Mpa from now on ; ②Observe whether the regeneration gas flowmeter shows about 20ml/min , otherwise adjust the pressure of the pressure reducing valve.

 

6. Turn off the cycle and analyzer at the same time

Reason: ①The pressure in the box is too high for an instant, exceeding +12mbar , the system will automatically protect; ②The voltage is unstable, causing system protection.

Solution: ①Check whether the pressure setting is correct, whether the pressure sensor is abnormal, whether the box vacuum valve or the air supply valve is damaged, and the pressure returns to normal, then turn on the analyzer and cycle. ②Check if the vacuum pump is broken and unable to operate.

 

7. The large and small warehouses cannot replenish air

Reason: ①The air holes in the glove box leading to the large and small bins may be blocked by plastic film, etc.; ②Whether the solenoid valve is not opened.

Method: ① Determine the position of the air hole according to the direction of the pipeline, and clear the pipeline; ② Check the wiring and solenoid valve.

 

8. The large and small bins cannot be pumped

Reasons: ①The suction holes in the large and small warehouses are blocked by plastic film, etc. or the cabin door leaks; ②The warehouse door is not closed tightly, or the sealing ring of the large and small warehouses is loose.

Methods: ①According to the direction of the pipeline, determine the position of the air hole and clear the pipeline; ②Close the door and check the size of the sealing ring; ③Check whether the working air pressure is too low (because the large warehouse air valve is a pneumatic valve).

 

9. The tank pressure continues to increase during cleaning

Reason: The cleaning valve is not opened, the intake pressure is too high, and the pipeline is not smooth.

Method: ①Ensure that the pipeline is unobstructed, preferably not to be bent; ②When cleaning, the relative pressure in the tank is continuously lower than 0.5 mbar.

 

10. Failure of the main valve of the purification column

Reason: ①The working air pressure is less than 0.5Mpa ; ②The main valve signal feedback failure.

Methods: ①Replace the working gas cylinder, or check that the pressure of the auxiliary gauge of the pressure reducing valve is 0.5Mpa ; ②Check the signal switch of the main valve.

 

11. The cycle cannot be opened

Reason: low pressure or high pressure protection of the fan inverter.

Method: After the voltage is stable, shut down and restart after 1 minute.
